Due to weather conditions the Loudoun County Public School system announced this afternoon that bus service for all after-school activities, as well as athletic practices and events, have been canceled for today and Sheriff's Office is reminding residents to be aware of weather conditions before heading out.
The National Weather Service in Sterling has issued a freezing rain advisory for Loudoun County, with the worst of the weather expected to hit the Purcellville area. A high of 39 degrees is predicted for this evening with freezing rain and sleet before 1 a.m. and freezing rain continuing into early morning Wednesday.
