Authorities are investigating an assault in Hamilton Park, several incidents of larceny, one incident of destruction of property and a burglary, according to a daily report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Burglary: Between 6 a.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Monday, an unknown subject or subjects entered an open garage in the 43200 block of Columbus Street in Ashburn and removed alcohol from a refrigerator.

Larceny: Between 8 a.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Monday, an unknown subject or subjects entered a vehicle in the 21500 block of Cedar Lane in Sterling and removed a GPS unit. Loss estimated at $400.

Larceny: Between 4 p.m. Sunday and 8:45 a.m. Monday, an unknown subject or subjects entered a vehicle in the 21000 block of Rodney Lane in Leesburg and removed a portable video game system and game. Loss is estimated at $400.

Larceny: Between 1:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, an unknown subject or subjects entered a vehicle in the 43100 block of Teaberry Drive in Leesburg and riffled through the glove box, taking two pairs of sunglasses and a piece of jewelry. Loss is estimated at $600.

Destruction of Property: Between 5 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday, an unknown subject or subjects damaged plants, a lamppost, driveway lights and a newly planted tree at a home in the 24000 block of Whitten Farm Court in Aldie.

Assault: At around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old Leesburg man was assaulted at Hamilton Park in the 30 block of W. Colonial Highway in Hamilton. The victim confronted several unknown subjects who were drinking alcohol in the park and advised them that alcohol was not allowed in the park. The subjects assaulted the man, and the fight was broken up by other visitors to the park. The case is under investigation.

Larceny: Between 10 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, an unknown subject or subjects entered a vehicle in the 42800 block of Sykes Terrace in South Riding and removed a GPS unit. Loss estimated at $280.
