A February trial date was set today for an assistant principal in Loudoun County charged with possession of child pornography.
Ting-Yi Oei, 59, an administrator at Freedom High School in South Riding, will stand trial Feb. 26 in Loudoun County Circuit Court. Oei, of Reston, was arrested at the school this week. The charge stems from his possession of an “inappropriate” cell phone photo of a female student taken by another student, authorities said.
Oei had been previously charged with failing to notify the child’s parents or authorities of the photo, but that lesser offense was later dropped and replaced with the felony pornography charge.
Oei, who remains free on bond, was a school administrator in Fairfax County for 25 years before moving to Loudoun.

Unbelievable. Yeah, this guy is a felon -- lock him up. Seriously, what are the police trying to accomplish here? What good will be served. Possesing a photograph that a student took........not him......that was not intedned to exploit anyone. Please.
