Junior quarterback Zach Gordon threw three touchdown passes, all in the second quarter, as Heritage came from behind to beat host North Hagerstown 26-20.
The Hubs (0-1) led 12-0 before Gordon hit junior Ross Madison with a 23-yard touchdown pass. Gordon also connected with senior Darius Tibbs and senior Curtis Rustin on touchdown passes for Heritage (1-1).
Junior Josh Thiel made a 33-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to extend the Pride’s lead to 26-12 before a late touchdown capped the scoring for the Hubs.
Madison finished with 79 yards rushing on 14 carries and also returned two kickoffs for 79 yards.
