Tied at Halftime, Vikings Fall to Battlefield



Battlefield's Adrian Ingram rushed for three second-half touchdowns as the Bobcats turned a halftime tie with Loudoun Valley into a 42-27 win Friday night.

Ingram rushed for touchdowns of 20, 34 and 85 yards as Battlefield (9-1, 7-1 AAA Cedar Run District) outscored the Vikings, 21-6, in the second half.

Ingram finished with 218 yards on 19 carries.

Cooper Barth accounted for all four of the Vikings' touchdowns as he threw for three scores and ran for another. Barth was 31 of 52 for 369 yards passing for Loudoun Valley (2-8, 1-6).

Battlefield is the No. 1 seed in the Virginia AAA Northwestern Region Division 6 playoffs and will face No. 4 seed Woodbridge.
