An executive at a Loudoun-based transportation and storage company has been arrested for allegedly propositioning someone who he believed to be a 13-year-old girl for sex, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office announced today.
Glenn P. Stephens, 52, of Leesburg, is accused of using hidden Internet chat rooms to sexually proposition the "girl." Authorities said he also sent sexually explicit and pornographic webcam videos.
The "girl" was an undercover agent from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit who was using the online profile of a 13-year-old girl. Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett announced Stephens' arrest Thursday.
Until his arrest, Stephens was the chief operating officer and executive vice president of Loudoun-based Capital Relocation Services. Stephens has been removed from a company Web page that lists its executives, but an older version of the page still available online indicated Stephens "acts as the senior advocate for all of Capital's corporate clients."
A company spokesman said Friday that Stephens no longer is employed at the business. According to the Web site, Stephens is married and has a son.

He was charged with two counts of unlawful contact with a minor (obscene or sexual materials of performances), two counts of attempted obscene or sexual performances and two counts of criminal use of a computer. The charges are third-degree felonies each punishable by up to seven years in prison and $15,000 fines.
Pennsylvania authorities said Stephens used the name of "Gene Grant" to approach an undercover agent in July. Investigators said he used a hidden Internet chat room used by others who have been arrested in previous investigations.
Corbett said Stephens quickly offered to "teach" the "girl" about sex after she indicated she was a 13-year-old girl from the Pittsburgh area, asking her "wouldn't ya like to be first time with an older patient man who can teach ya everything?"
The criminal complaint goes on to allege that Stephens was involved in graphic online and e-mail exchanges from July to October. He also told the girl they might try marijuana together.
Investigators said he allegedly sent the girl Internet links to sexually graphic online videos, telling her "it is something you can really learn to do real good. I'd love to teach you."

Pennsylvania authorities worked with Virginia State Police and the Loudoun County Virginia Sheriff's Office to monitor Stephens' home and office, and to verify when he had returned from a recent business trip, investigators said.
He was arrested at his Leesburg office on Dec. 3. He waived extradition in Virginia and was taken to Pennsylvania Dec. 5th, where he was booked into the Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 11 in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
Loudoun authorities executed a search warrant at Stephens' home and seized two laptop computers, a desktop computer, a webcam, data storage devices and several photos that he allegedly sent to the "girl." A laptop computer also was recovered from Stephens' employer.

At least he wasn't caught on tape being confronted by Chris Hanson while holding a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade and a box of condoms.
