Description: Third Annual Loudoun County Special Olympics Free Throw Competition
Saturday February 14, 2009
(And “Nothing but Net” Fund Raiser)

For the past two years, in cooperation with Loudoun County Special Olympics, The Knights of Columbus have sponsored a “Loudoun County Special Olympics Free Throw Competition” in coordination with their national “Free Throw” competition in order to address the needs of the physically and developmentally challenged athletes within Loudoun County.

“Nothing but Net Fund Raiser”

Flat amount or “per basket” donations will be accepted. Last year 60 athletes competing in three different divisions made approximately 120 baskets during the competition. A “per basket” donation of $1.50 would have covered the expenses for one athlete for the season. The number of athletes and the number of baskets will not be known until after the competition. A minimum of ten cents ($0.10) “per basket” donation will be accepted. Any and all flat donations will also be accepted.
For any questions or to make a donation or “per basket” pledge, please E-mail: ChuckforSpecialOlympics@rstarmail.com

Checks should be made payable to: Loudoun County Special Olympics
