A: Educating the public about the need for soil and water conservation in Loudoun so as to maintain the beautiful landscape that now exists in our county for residents and visitors to enjoy and appreciate.
A: As Loudoun continues to grow, we are faced with the monumental problem of conserving our natural resources. Our land, streams and rivers are very special and that is what makes Loudoun a picturesque county that attracts visitors and new residents. Our challenge is to make everyone aware of what we have and what we have to do to properly maintain our land and water. To meet this challenge we must constantly educate everyone about proper conservation. This starts in our elementary schools and extends through adulthood. Educate, educate, educate.
