Q: Why should voters elect you?

A: For this constitutional office, professional experience is the measure of the qualifications. I have 20 years of circuit court management experience in Northern Virginia.

Q: What do you think is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A: Growth. As the County's population grows, the demands on the Clerk's Office increase dramatically. The growth in the county translates into more criminal court cases, more civil court cases, the issuance of more marriage licenses, an increase in the number of jury trials, an increase in the probate of wills and increased workload in other court services. With the General Assembly providing less funding for Loudoun, there is pressure on the local board of supervisors to fund more of my office's operations. To fulfill my obligations as Clerk, I have implemented cost-effective technology solutions to improve the delivery of services.
