Questions & Answers

Q: What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A: The completion of the planned Woodgrove High School north of town. The majority of parents and students I have spoken with say they want the school built. Therefore, because some students will graduate if the project is delayed further, it stands to reason that this project is the most urgent.

Q: How would you rate your town’s relationship with Loudoun County officials and what, if anything, would you do to improve that relationship?

A: The current relationship is terrible. I will work cooperate reasonably with the county.

Q: In March, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled the transportation package passed by lawmakers last year unconstitutional, endangering major projects across the region. What steps, if any, should the county, region and state take to address funding issues for transportation projects?

A: *NR*

Q: Do you believe additional steps are needed to control the pace of development in your community?

A: The town, through current zoning and annexation tools, can sufficiently control growth.

Q: Why should voters elect you?

A: I am running as a fiscal conservative. The current council's budget is more than double what it was two years ago.
