Q: What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A: We have to maintain the character of our town, while keeping our utilities up to date and not making the tax burden prohibitive on the residences and businesses.

Q: How would you rate your town’s relationship with Loudoun County officials and what, if anything, would you do to improve that relationship?

A: We have a great relationship and would like to see it continue.

Q: Do you believe additional steps are needed to control the pace of development in your community?

A: I would like to see the controls which are now in place continiue to maintain and control growth.

Q: In March, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled the transportation package passed by lawmakers last year unconstitutional, endangering major projects across the region. What steps, if any, should the county, region and state take to address funding issues for transportation projects?

A: I am a lifelong resident and have made the well-being and future of Middleburg a number-one priority.
