Q: What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A: Capital Improvements, working with small and large businesses, and planning for future economic development.

Q: How would you rate your town’s relationship with Loudoun County officials and what, if anything, would you do to improve that relationship?

A: The town staff has a very good relationship with Loudoun County officials.

Q: Do you believe additional steps are needed to control the pace of development in your community?

A: Yes, there is a need to promote good planning with changing times. Town council has a unique opportunity to develop solid and effective planning for future development and at the same time protect current residents.

Q: In March, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled the transportation package passed by lawmakers last year unconstitutional, endangering major projects across the region. What steps, if any, should the county, region and state take to address funding issues for transportation projects?

Q: Why should voters elect you?

A: Safety of pedestrians and economic stability for the town is needed. I plan to continue past work from the Planning Commission to the council.
