Questions & Answers

Q: What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?

A: Round Hill has several urgent problems. One is to responsibly increase the tax base to bring more revenue into the town, primarily by encouraging the development of the commercial district east of town. Another urgent issue is to complete construction of the town's utility projects.

Q: How would you rate your town’s relationship with Loudoun County officials and what, if anything, would you do to improve that relationship?

A: Round Hill has worked well with Loudoun County offiicals but there is always room for improvement. I would like to see regular meetings occurring between the County Administrator and the towns to discuss issues.

Q: Do you believe additional steps are needed to control the pace of development in your community?

A: Controlling development is a County-wide issue, not unique to Round Hill. The impact on infrastructure and schools must be weighed before any development is approved.

Q: In March, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled the transportation package passed by lawmakers last year unconstitutional, endangering major projects across the region. What steps, if any, should the county, region and state take to address funding issues for transportation projects?

A: *NR*

Q: Why should voters elect you?

A: My experience and commitment to the town have been proven. I want to continue working for Round Hill's citizens.
