In partnership with Nova Medical Group, practitioners of internal medicine, family practice, dermatology and naturopathic medicine, Nova´s spa services include expertise from specialists in a wide range of specialties. These include, acupuncture, nutrition, massage therapy, dermatology, exercise, stress management, and weight loss. We offer preventative and restorative therapies that improve your health, appearance, lifestyle choices, and well-being.

As a Nova patient or medical spa client, you will enjoy their selection of quality treatments in a warm and healing environment. The beautifully appointed facility is comprised of private consultation and treatment rooms and an inviting tranquility area available for relaxation before, in between, or after treatments. Comfortable changing rooms for men and women with full amenities are provided.

Nova began as a sole proprietorship founded by Grace L. Keenan, MD in 1988, in the Countryside development in Sterling, VA. Rapid growth necessitated a move to Route 7 and Palisades Parkway in 1991, and the establishment of Nova Urgent Care, the practice’s first Urgent Care facility.

The Medical Spa at Nova contains a body movement room whereby certified personal trainers craft an individualized exercise program, prescribing a balanced approach to health and fitness. Flexibility, balance, body fat composition, basal metabolic rate, cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance all factor into the equation of optimizing your health. Working with their dietician, naturopathic physician and cognitive behavioral therapist, a team approach gives rise to the fitness and nutrition, mind body medicine and weight loss programs, tailored to create results for you. In addition to the routine spa services, including facials, body treatments, laser hair removal, BOTOX™ and Restylane®, and massage, The Medical Spa at Nova provides advanced techniques in lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy and infra red sauna detoxification protocols.
