The non-profit Round Hill Arts Center will be relocating its classes and events in the coming months. According to Executive Director Frank Naylor, several possibilities are on the horizon, with a priority to remain in Round Hill, Virginia. Founded in 2001, the Arts Center has had its home at Round Hill's "Old Furniture Factory."

The Board of Directors will formally consider a plan to relocate the Arts Center to find more cost efficient and flexible space in order to accommodate plans for growth of its pottery and other classes, events and programming at its next board meeting.

One major change will be to the Arts Center Gallery and Gift Shop. Round Hill Arts Center will be closing the Gallery and Gift Shop in its current iteration as of August 15. The public is encouraged to come and purchase from the gift shop the first week of August. Hours are Thursday, August 6 10-5 pm, Friday, August 7 10-5 pm and Saturday, August 8 11-5 pm. The Gallery and Gift Shop is the only store in Loudoun County devoted entirely to the exceptional work of area artists and the work includes fine art and handcraft, jewelry, ceramics, fused glass and music CDs - to name but a few items found there.

On Friday, August 14th at 7 pm, area artists are invited to attend a meeting at the Arts Center concerning the possibility of an Artists' Cooperative. The Arts Center is committed to helping artists establish an Artists' Cooperative gallery and gift shop at the Center's new location.
