Three Politicians Walk Into an Optometrist's Office...

School Board Holds on to Wheatland, Delays Grade Weighting Decision

The Loudoun County School Board meeting ended after 12:30 a.m. today. Besides deciding to keep the Wheatland properties and delaying the grade weighting decision, the board heard from parents who were upset about the recent suspension of students for violating the zero-tolerance policy on alcohol on a school trip to France. Wolf's Job Fair Draws Crowd

Parking was sparse for those attending today's job fair sponsored by Congressman Frank R. Wolf at the Loudoun County Public Schools Building on Education Court in Ashburn. The building's lot was full early in the day, and many attendees parked at the Clyde's restaurant next door or along residential side streets in the nearby Broadlands neighborhood.
