5:53 p.m.: Lowery's Farm Market has snack truck here and there's a long line there
5:51 p.m.: Obama: McCain's attacks show that he is running out of ideas, out of touch and out of time ... I can take two more weeks of John McCain's attacks, but the American people can't take four more years of the same.
5:45 p.m.: Barack Obama: You all look like real Virginians to me

I was so far back that I could barely see the stage and podium, much less the actual candidates speaking. Thankfully they had a good audio system there.
Also, someone should tell people that the houses lining King St. are private property. There were people all over those yards. :-P

OTH, nice one. Actually, it was 5:15 - Pledge of Allegience. 5:20 - The National Anthem.
It was a truly moving experience to raise my voice with so many thousands of others pledging and singing our love for our country.
