Working with Allergies
The Loudoun County school system is working with local parents over the issue of food allergies, according to an article in the Loudoun Times-Mirror. The Loudoun Allergy Network, founded a year ago by parent Maria Hardy of Lovettsville, is communicating with the schools to ensure safety precautions for children with allergies.
CountrySide Women’s Club
Loudoun Independent reports that the CountrySide Women’s Club will hold their 20th Anniversary Fall Luncheon on Oct. 10 at 11:30 a.m. The event will feature a raffle, and many of the organization’s former presidents will be present. Local Leaders Receive Service Awards
Leesburg Town Manager John Wells and Journey Through Hallowed Ground Executive Director Cate Magennis Wyatt were recognized at Shenandoah University's Annual Public Service Awards, reports Leesburg Today. Both residents of Loudoun, Wells received the local service award, and Wyatt an award for public service. For the full article, click here.
