Huckabee Speaks, Foreclosures Listed

Huckabee to Speak at Patrick Henry Graduation
The Loudoun Times-Mirror reported yesterday that former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, also a former candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, will deliver the keynote commencement address at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2008.

Photos for Foreclosure Listings
Over at the real estate blog Loudoun Stats they are posting photos for homes that have been foreclosed. "Agents that list foreclosures for sale have a tendency to not upload any photo into the MLS or into Internet listing sites," he writes. "This is frustrating for me and I know it is frustrating for many of the buyers looking at properties online." The post currently has photos for homes in Sterling.

Blue Grass Dinner
The Blue Ridge Vol. Fire & Rescue is announcing that it will be host a spaghetti dinner next Saturday, May 17. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature blue grass group, The Naked Mountain Boys. "[They] are eager to play traditional favorites, assorted new tunes by the likes of the Dixie Chicks, and original material, too."
