Real estate bloggers Danilo and Tony over at Loudoun Stats list four reasons why Loudoun real estate numbers showed signs of strengthening this April. "Listings have remained steady at or near the 2,600 mark for the entire month," they wrote. "...These four signs show that we are no longer in a free fall."

Loudoun Teachers Recognized
Leesburg Today announces the five finalists for Loudoun Teacher of the Year in this story. "A screening committee selected the finalists based on their commitment to students and teaching, subject knowledge, teaching philosophy, ability to manage and monitor student learning and service to the community," according to the article. The winner will be announced by the Loudoun County School Board on May 27.

Senior Communities
Jonathan Bunn of The Real Estate Bakery has an interesting post in which he predicts that there will soon be a growing senior adult population in Ashburn. "If the average age for the population is in the mid 30's you should assume that there are grandchildren in the picture," he wrote. "...Grandparents are now deciding that they are tired of missing out on their youngsters' childhood."
