Tax Rate and Real Estate
Real estate blogger Danilo writes that the recently approved 19 percent increase in Loudoun's tax rate could deter people from purchasing homes in the county. "With taxes being as high as they are, a huge chunk has been taken out of the overall appeal of Loudoun County. That's a vicious cycle than none of us want to see start," he wrote.

Russell Branch Parkway Extension
As part of the development of One Loudoun, officials on Tuesday broke ground on the extension of Russell Branch Parkway to connect Loudoun County Parkway with Ashburn Village Boulevard. Leesburg Today has the story.
