Bevel Trial: Little National Attention
Slate has a story analyzing the lack of media spotlight placed on the recent trial of civil rights leader James L. Bevel. On Thursday, Bevel was convicted of having sex with one of his daughters in the 1990s when they lived in Leesburg. "I don't know whether to attribute the lack of coverage accorded James Bevel's incest trial to historical ignorance, political correctness, or the media's inability to grasp that a man can sometimes be both hero and monster," wrote reporter Timothy Noah.

For the Love of Loudoun Arts
John Stevens is excited about an upcoming event that will showcase Loudoun art organizations as well as LCPS students.
