Another Ex-Spartan Earns Collegiate Accolades

Former Broad Run shortstop Conor Mullee was named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference first team. Now a junior at St. Peter's College, Mullee was a two-time All-Dulles District shortstop before graduating from high school in 2006.

TRENTON, NJ - Saint Peter's College shortstop Conor Mullee has been selected to the 2009 All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) First Team.

The 6'4" junior from Ashburn, VA started all 52 games at shortstop for the Peacocks this season. He finished the season tied for the conference lead in sacrifice flies, and also was tied for the Peacock's season home run lead. His .954 fielding percentage contributed to Saint Peter's 62 double plays, the 12th highest total in NCAA Division I this season. In addition, the Peacocks' 1.15 double plays per game average was the 16th highest average nationwide.

The All-MAAC team is selected annually by the 10 MAAC head baseball coaches.
