Bulldogs' senior outfielder/pitcher Johnny Bladel caps off his career with yet another honor.

Johnny Bladel capped off his Stone Bridge career by being named to the 1st Team, Virginia AAA, All State baseball team. Bladel had already received 1st Team; "All Met", All-Liberty District, and All Northern Region honors, as well as being named the Liberty District Player of the Year, the Northern Region Co-Player of the Year, and the Loudoun County All Extra Player of the Year. Bladel leaves Stone Bridge holding 7 team records; Season Batting Average (.471), Career Batting Average (.443), Home Runs in a Season (5), Home Runs in a Career (9), RBI's in a Season (27), RBI's in a Career (66) and Doubles in a Season (10).
“I am so proud of Johnny and all his accomplishments during his career at Stone Bridge," Coach Sam Plank said. "James Madison University is getting not only a great baseball player but a special person as well.”
