Freedom's AD Lowery Moving to Woodgrove

Freedom Athletic Director Rusty Lowery has resigned from his position as the head man with the Eagles athletic department to take the new AD job at Purcellville's Woodgrove High School next month.

The Freedom athletic office confirmed that the announcement was made at last Tuesday's school board meeting. The Athletic Director position at Freedom was posted on the Loudoun County Public Schools site on Thursday. Matt Oblas is currently the assistant athletic director at Freedom.

Lowery will begin his job at Woodgrove on July 1.
