Post Publishes All-Met Section

Ed Guzman at 2:30 a.m., June 3, 2009

The Washington Post published yet another All-Met section on Wednesday, this time celebrating the Spring 2009 sports season. As we've been doing recently, we had our All-Mets sit in front of the camera and answer questions, this time about where they see themselves in 10 years and how sports will help them reach those goals.

As has often been the case lately in the spring, Loudoun was well represented on the various teams that constitute the cream of the crop of the Washington metro area. Loudoun area schools had players or coaches on the baseball, gymnastics, girls' lacrosse, boys' soccer, girls' soccer, softball,
girls' tennis and boys' track teams.

These and other All-Mets from this school year will be feted on Wednesday at the Post's annual All-Met banquet at the Grand Hyatt in Washington. For those of you who are planning to attend, congratulations and make sure to say hello to our reporters and editors who have worked hard all year to provide coverage of high school sports.

Enjoy your Wednesday, everyone!
