Loudoun Extra Points

Going Down to Radford, Going to Have Ourselves a Time

Matt Brooks at 3:01 p.m., June 3, 2009

Don't ask me how you'll be able to keep tabs on all three 10 a.m. games, it's quite possible yours truly could be dealing with the exact same quandary. But after watching the Broad Run softball and girls' soccer teams take home state titles a year ago, I can tell you its going to be one wild and crazy weekend down in Radford.

It was an absolute scorcher last year with temperatures soaring above 100 degrees. Fortunately, it shouldn't be quite that bad this year. Let's just hope those dreaded March/April/May showers give it a rest and let these teams finish out their seasons under sunny skies.

Here's the schedule of events for Loudoun's AA schools.

Friday's Schedule

10 a.m. - Girls' Soccer Semifinals

Saturday's Schedule

Here's your schedule of state title games should any (or all) of the above teams advance on Friday.

Girls' Soccer: 10 a.m.

Boys' Soccer: 12 p.m.

Baseball: 1 p.m.

Softball: 2 p.m.

Yes folks, it could be a mighty busy day on Saturday as well.

And just because we haven't had one of these in a while...
