LC Hawks Take State Baseball Crown

The Loudoun County Hawks 16U baseball program won the Virginia Sports Complex 2009 16U Virginia State Championship tournament on July 19th. The team completed the 2009 season with a 24-5 record and have a combined two year record of 51-11, with three tournament championships and one second place finish. The team is comprised of rising sophomores and juniors from various Loudoun County high schools.

What an amazing group of young men - the whole community should be proud. Their efforts and success on the baseball diamond are just a part of the story; they are good-hearted, respectful and fun-loving, and embody all the best of their young generation!
