NoVa West Lacrosse’s U15 team the Virus won the Southern Classic lacrosse tournament in Charlottesville over the weekend. The team won all five of their games including a dominating 9–1 victory over the host CAYLC-acac team which is made up of players destined for St. Anne’s Belfield, Woodberry Forrest, Covenant and Albemarle.

The Virus are 11-2-1 on the season in their three tournaments thus far with two tournaments remaining, the NoVa West Shootout in Middleburg on the 19th and the Chocolatetown Shootout at Hershey Park the following weekend.

The third annual NoVa West Shootout will be held this upcoming weekend July 18th and 19th at Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg. Eight high school elite teams will be playing on Saturday and eight U15 teams will be playing on Sunday. NoVa West invites all to come out and enjoy a great weekend of lacrosse at Notre Dame Academy. The tournament is a festival atmosphere with food vendors and discounted lacrosse equipment supplied by Lax World of Virginia.
