The Dulles Little League American League 9/10 All Stars treated home fans to a spectacular series at the Virginia District 16 Little League Tournament at Crittenden Park. The DLL AL All Stars delivered decisive wins over American League teams from Central Loudoun (24-4), Loudoun South (7-3), Upper Loudoun (21-3) and the National League team from Central Loudoun (7-0.) Their 10-3 victory over Upper Loudoun secured the District 16 title, and landed the team a spot in this week's state Little League tournament in Luray, VA.

The AL All Stars performed strongly with excellent pitching performances turned in by Sean Clark, Nick Smallwood, Robbie Ferreira and Matt Branson. Solid hitting by the entire team along with nearly flawless fielding kept the AL All Stars out in front for every inning - with 2 games ending after just four innings of play due to the 10-run rule.
