Onyeador Breaks Record
For years Uche Onyeador has established himself as the most prolific scorer in the area and last night in a 4-3 victory over Broad Run, the Georgetown-bound striker made it official, setting the Virginia career goal scoring record with a hat trick.
Onyeador, who entered the game tied at the top with 124 goals, scored three times to push his season total to 26 and his career number to 127.
It's a remarkable number for any player, regardless of division, and Onyeador has been the integral part in Potomac Falls' success over the years. The senior brings skill, quickness and strength to the field each night, and even with teams often double- and triple-teaming him usually breaks through.
With the win, Potomac Falls moves to 11-4-1 on the year.
