G - De-Andre Albritton, Dominion, Sr.
The two-time Dulles District Player of the Year averaged 20 points per game and guided Dominion to its first basketball district championship. Albritton was the centerpiece of a team that advanced to the Region II Division 3 title game and the Virginia AA Division 3 quarterfinals, registering several double-doubles and near triple-doubles down the stretch.
Steve Douglas, Dominion
In two seasons, Douglas transformed Dominion from the 6-17 team he inherited to one of the top teams in the region, this year guiding the Titans to the state tournament — the first boys' basketball team since Loudoun Valley in 2004 to advance past regionals.

An outstanding athlete who takes pride in being the county's top defender, Porter was the leader of a Freedom team that cruised through its competition this year on its way to a Virginia AA Division 3 state title. Averaged 17 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals per game and stepped up her game offensively to lead the Eagles through the playoffs. Will play for Colorado State.
Jason Eldredge, Freedom-South Riding
Eldredge has been at the helm in South Riding for four seasons and in that time built the Eagles from a team that won one game in 2005-06 into one that lost only twice en route to the Virginia AA Division 3 state championship.

Highest finisher among Loudoun swimmers at Virginia AA-A championship meet, finishing sixth in 100 breaststroke and third in 100 butterfly. Was second in 200 IM at Region II meet and won region title in 100 fly. Also won 100 fly and 100 breast titles at districts.
Beverly Kelley, Broad Run
Guided the Spartans to a second consecutive Virginia AA Dulles District title, outdistancing the nearest opponent by more than 170 points. Despite losing one of the team's top swimmers to injury, Kelley guided Broad Run to a third-place finish at regionals and eighth at states — both highest among Loudoun schools.

The highest finisher among Loudoun swimmers at the Virginia AA-A state meet, where she finished sixth in the 200 free with a time of 1:56.66 and nearly repeated as champ in the 500 freestyle before finishing second in 4:55.90. Won district titles in 200 IM and 500 freestyles and took region crowns in 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle.
Holly Flowers, Potomac Falls
Flowers guided the Panthers to a Dulles District title with a narrow three-point victory over Briar Woods, then led Potomac Falls to a third-place finish in Region II and an eighth-place finish at the Virginia AA-A meet — both highest among Loudoun schools.

In her first high school season, Vesecky finished 12th all-around at the state individual meet, making her the highest A/AA finisher in the Washington metro region. She nabbed second all-around at the A/AA qualifying meet and won Dulles District titles in the all-around, on the beam and the bars.
Jenny Aubel, Heritage and Loudoun County
Aubel led the Raiders to their first Virginia AA Dulles District title since the school's gymnastics program was reestablished in 2002. Four of her Loudoun County gymnasts qualified for the state individual meet.

A quiet leader who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing, DeLong stopped opposing rushes and frequently made the pass to start the Bulldogs' offense in a 10-0 regular season. He had two goals and seven assists.
Bob LeFebvre, Briar Woods
After Briar Woods finished 1-9 during its first season as a varsity team in 2007-08, LeFebvre guided the Falcons to a 6-4 record and their first Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League playoff appearance.

Guided the Panthers (25-6) to their second consecutive Virginia AA Dulles District championship, and sixth in the past eight years. Potomac Falls also went undefeated (7-0) in district dual meets for the third year in a row.
